Job Description

Reporting to the Test Manager, the Test Analyst works as part of a fast paced and agile testing team, and is responsible for fully testing internal and external client new functionality from end to end. The post holder will have the opportunity to input into the future of testing within the business and assist with an ongoing delivery of the cutting-edge solutions to the property surveying market in UK. The test team members have a great opportunity to further develop professional and technical skills in the area of IT quality assurance while working with highly technical software developers and senior test analysts.

We’re preferably looking for someone with some level of experience in software testing, and who is also a self-starter, able to work under pressure and with a proactive approach to their work and reporting. The ability to think outside of the box in reviewing customer requirements and determining the scope of testing required to deliver the best quality release is key.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Reviewing requirements and creating test scripts
  • Executing test cases for new functionality and regression testing
  • Replicating issues and raising bugs in Azure DevOps
  • Proactive reporting of the status and test results to Test Leads / Test Manager
  • Ensuring high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release
  • Responding to queries from the Project and IT Support Teams
  • Providing feedback to the development team and ensuring the work is carried out in accordance with schedule and quality requirements

Job Qualification

Skills and experience required

It’s expected the post holder will have the following experience, understanding and personal attributes:

  • Experience in testing or support of Web or Mobile applications
  • Some exposure to system development in Agile or DevOps environment
  • A passion for delivering high quality software
  • Eager to learn and resolve technical challenges
  • Good eye to detail
  • Good reporting and communication skills
