ECO Score Calculator supports ECO4 and GBIS

CoreLogic’s free to use ECO Score Calculator tool now supports GBIS (Great British Insulation Scheme) as well as ECO4.

This will enable customers to calculate the Partial Project Scores (PPS) and the associated payments that you would receive for jobs under GBIS based on the starting SAP rating and floor area.

Rob Cartwright, Director of Energy Services & Solutions, CoreLogic UK comments: “We’ve seen a sharp increase in GBIS lodgements coming through our PAS Hub software, having seen an 18-fold increase in GBIS lodgements during June compared to May! We expect to see this rise significantly over the coming months”.

About the Great British Insulation Scheme

The Great British Insulation Scheme previously known as the ECO+ scheme, is a £1 billion Government funded energy efficiency scheme to help eligible households in England, Wales and Scotland to insulate their homes so they can reduce their energy consumption and save on heating bills. GBIS complements ECO4, but instead of a ‘whole house’ approach, the funding is to help households through home insulation measures, such as loft insulation and wall insulation. The eligibility criteria potentially opens it up to many more households. As well as supporting low-income and vulnerable households, it will also be available to those living in homes with an Energy Performance Certificate rating of D-G, and within Council Tax bands A-D in England and A-E in Scotland and Wales.
