9th July 2013

ETECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE ENERGY (CSE) HAS CHOSEN ETECH’S MARKET LEADING GREEN DEAL & ECO SOFTWARE SOLUTION TO SUPPORT CSE’S DELIVERY OF THE GREEN DEAL.

Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) help people and organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors meet the twin challenges of rising energy costs and climate change.

Their vision is a world where sustainability is second nature, carbon emissions have been cut to safe levels and fuel poverty has been replaced by energy justice.   Having evaluated all available solutions, Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) decided to implement eTech’s Green Deal & ECO solution.

Mike McClelland, Project Manager at Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) said: “An influencing factor in this decision was that our Energy Supplier delivery partner had already committed to eTech’s Green Deal and ECO solution. In order to maintain this relationship and fulfil their delivery requirements, we wanted a consistent and coordinated approach to the software solution. Working with eTech will ensure we meet their procedural and logistical requirements. By selecting the same solution, we feel that we are mitigating any risk in the ECO grant calculations as well as ensuring that we can claim back the same grant allowance allocated to a customer from the Energy Supplier.   Mike continues: “Although our initial ECO submissions were small scale, we could see there was a variation between the scoring using different software solutions and methodologies. We are confident that eTech’s Green Deal & ECO solution will accurately manage our ECO submissions.“

Centre of Sustainable Energy (CSE) has adopted eTech’s market leading Green Deal & ECO software solution across the business and it will be used by staff in the office and on mobile devices.

David Driver, Director at eTech Solutions said: “We are delighted that Centre of Sustainable Energy (CSE) has chosen to implement our Green Deal & ECO solution. They are an exciting & innovative organisation and our software is aligned with their overall mission to share their knowledge and practical experience to empower people to change the way they think and act about energy.

We believe that all green initiatives stand and fall on the consumer’s willingness to engage, understand and adopt new technology. The Green Deal is the UK’s primary mechanism for helping consumers reduce the significant carbon emissions produced by our nation’s housing stock. Our software platform helps consumers to understand the advantages that Green Deal can deliver and supports the Green Deal Provider in delivering all the steps of the Green Deal customer journey.”
