Virgin Money choose eTech’s Buy To Let Hub

26th June 2018

eTech are pleased to announce another UK Lender partnership, this time with Virgin Money who have chosen eTech’s Buy To Let Hub as their intermediary platform for buy-to-let mortgages.

eTech’s Buy To Let Hub will enable Virgin Money to support intermediaries and their landlord clients through the portfolio submission process, by providing a simplified solution that not only meets the PRA underwriting standards, but will streamline their processes and automate operations.

Mark Blackwell, Chief Operating Officer at eTech commented: “Since the legislative changes last year and the challenges this presented to the buy-to-let community, it is encouraging to see even more lenders choose to invest in technology to assist them in what has become a more complex and specialist market. We are pleased to join forces with Virgin Money to enhance their buy-to-let mortgage offerings and help to remain committed to working closely with intermediaries. We have seen many of our early Buy To Let Hub adopters over the past few months reap the benefits of choosing our solution, making the portfolio submission process for intermediaries far quicker and easier, while enabling applications to be processed much faster. We look forward to working with Virgin Money over the coming months.”

Virgin Money will have complete oversight and management of applications in one intuitive dashboard. They will be able to configure their own rules in accordance with risk appetite and exposure levels within their business and perform automated portfolio stress testing, supported by multiple AVM service providers. Ultimately this will enable faster response to loan applications.

Intermediaries will benefit from a user friendly online system, with a simple portfolio upload process and client management portal, where documentation is easily uploaded and stored in one place. Automatic property verification tools and instant submission of applications makes the whole process hassle free, minimising administration and duplication of data.

Andrew Asaam, Director of Mortgages at Virgin Money, said:“We’re delighted to announce our launch into the portfolio landlord market and to be partnering with e-Tech. Harnessing their technology to facilitate portfolio submissions will deliver a fantastic process for our mortgage brokers and complement our overall intermediary service.”

Working closely with all of our partners, Buy To Let Hub continues to evolve, keeping ahead of new requirements and connecting stakeholders throughout the whole buy-to-let journey.
