SMART Floor Plan for iPad upcoming launch…

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE UPCOMING LAUNCH OF MARKETING AND TECHNICAL EPC FLOOR PLANS FOR IPAD THROUGH OUR CONTINUED COLLABORATION WITH THE MOBILE AGENT (TMA)

TMA have been working hard to re-platform their market leading PDA based floor plan software for the iPad, and it looks great. As with the existing PDA based version that we support in conjunction with TMA, SMART Floor Plan for iPad will integrate with eTech’s SMART EPC software. This enables an Energy Assessor to generate both Marketing Plans and a Technical Floor plan which forms part of the EPC Record of Inspection used on an Accreditation Scheme Audit.

As with the current PDA version, features such as Heat Loss Perimeters (HLP), Party Walls, Excluded Rooms and Extensions will be recordable as the plan is drawn up on the iPad. SMART Floor Plan will calculate the Heat Loss Perimeters and floor areas of the building and automatically transfer this data into the Building Measurement section of SMART EPC. The EPC floor plan image or ‘Technical Plan’ will be inserted into the Record of Inspection produced by SMART EPC
