Purdey’s Audley House opens its virtual doors to customers

CoreLogic are delighted to have had the opportunity to work with James Purdey & Sons to create a 3D Virtual Tour of their prestigious retail space in London, which is home to the worlds finest shotguns and rifles. The 360 experience showcases the shop in its full glory, adding a new dimension to the Purdey’s website, enable customers to really connect with the brand. Audley House has opened its virtual doors so that customers can enjoy and experience this well-known and beloved fixture in London’s Mayfair from the comfort of their own home.

Customers are invited into the Purdey 360 experience, which allows you to tour the entire showroom, including the famous Long Room, where you can view the current collection of guns, rifles and historical artifacts. You will be able to walk through the boutique from wherever you are in the world and see the current Summer clothing collection and many of their beautiful gifts, luggage and home accessories.

A Brief History of Audley House

On 1 January 1883, James Purdey & Sons relocated to Audley House, 57-58 South Audley Street, Mayfair.

The building, designed by architect William Lambert and completed by B.E. Nightingale, was fast acknowledged as the most prestigious gun shop in the country. Land and Water called it a ‘Palace amongst Gun Manufactories’ – for originally, guns were stocked, finished and engraved on the premises.

Navigating the 3D Virtual Tour

Navigating the tour is simple and can be accessed from a desktop or mobile device. You enter the property from the font entrance and can move around each room at your own pace, exploring every corner in high resolution. Green tags contain information about the building and products, some contain links if which are clickable for more information. There is also the option to view the floor plan or 3D dollhouse, making it easy to pick and choose which rooms to explore.
