PAS Assessment survey pack update in line with Ofgem regulatory changes

CoreLogic have released a Survey Pack update for the PAS Assessment App, which incorporates the latest set of regulatory changes from Ofgem for BACL and ESCL, which are required to be in use from the 6th December 2021.

The latest Survey Pack includes the following changes:

BACL has been updated to v3.6 to comply with the latest regulatory changes published by Ofgem. This is mandatory for reporting from 06/12/2021. The following changes have been made as part of this:

  • The option to complete the BACL for a FTCH Measure has been removed. The First Time Central Heating Checklist (FTCH) should be completed instead.
  • The question “What is the existing pre-main heating source?” has been added.
  • It is now possible to enter either the year of original commissioning or age of the boiler. The question “Age of Boiler in Years” has also been removed to match Section E on the PDF.
  • The question “List all of the steps you took to identify the symptoms and reach the conclusion that the boiler is broken down” has been removed.
  • Boiler Assessment Part 2 within the BACL PT1 has been updated to match the new format for section D on the PDF. There is a new question that is shown if Other is selected for the question “Boiler Fault List” that allows you to enter a detailed description of the fault.
  • The Heat Pump specific questions have been removed in line with the changes to the PDF.

ESCL has been updated to v3.5 to comply with the latest regulatory changes published by Ofgem. This is mandatory for reporting from 06/12/2021. The following changes have been made as part of this:

  • There is a new flow of questions within the ESCL PT1 that allows you to record the type and number of Room Heaters that are present if applicable.
  • The option to complete the ESCL for a FTCH Measure has been removed. The First Time Central Heating Checklist (FTCH) should be completed instead.
