ETECH IS TEN TODAY!

It’s a huge milestone for eTech today as we celebrate our tenth birthday! Things are looking very different to the way they were in 2005 when Jim and David started the company. What’s not changed, though, is our continued ability to anticipate the needs of our clients, responding to changes in our markets, developing innovative software and ensuring our solutions are the very best.

Since being formally incorporated on 4 November 2005, the company has undertaken a remarkable journey, growing from just a handful of people to the organisation it is today. We now have 146 colleagues working across our various departments, the majority of whom have joined in the last two years.

As recently as 2011, we had just 15 colleagues, and it was in this same year that the first Green Deal pilot was delivered, followed by the development and launch of our market leading ECO & Green Deal workflow management and mobile applications in 2013. Also in 2013, we achieved ISO 27001 accreditation.

2014 saw us win the Enterprise Award at the WCIT Awards, and Software Company of the Year at the National Green Deal Awards. We moved to our current state of the art offices in the summer of that year, as colleague numbers continued to grow. 2014 also saw our acquisition of ecmk, enabling us to deliver in-house accreditation and training for users of our software.

This last year has seen us continue to anticipate the needs of our markets, with increased focus on our Lending and Surveying division, and we continue to invest heavily in our teams. eTech is currently ranked by the Sunday Times amongst the 100 fastest growing tech companies in the UK and our New Talent programme has seen increased graduate, intern and apprentice recruitment, and we’re through to the National Final of the Apprentice Awards.
