Buy To Let Hub for Brokers ‘Creating a new job’ and ‘Importing a spreadsheet’

CoreLogic have launched a series of  ‘how to’ videos for Brokers who are registered to use the Buy To Let Hub software, to make life even easier when submitting a landlord portfolio to a Lender.

These videos offer hints & tips to utilise all the time saving functionality within the Hub, step by step in under 5 minutes.

Creating a new job and Importing a spreadsheet

We’ve created a refresher video on how to create a new job on the Buy To Let Hub and a seperate video, with step by step instructions on how to import and verify a spreadsheet, containing your landlord property data.

Here are some key point to consider when ‘Importing a spreadsheet’

Excel Spreadsheet

Before you upload your landlord property data spreadsheet, please download the excel template which contains the correctly named header fields for you to use prior to import.

TIP: The spreadsheet has a separate field for the postcode, but you do not need to separate the postcode out if it has been added to the ‘Property Address’ field. 

Removing Properties 

Once your your spreadsheet is uploaded to the Hub, you can view the data prior to completing the import. This allows you to remove properties if they were added in error.

Address Verification

Once the spreadsheet has been imported into the Hub, the address verification will automatically begin. Against the individual property addresses, the results are identifiable by the colour of the house icon (grey, green or yellow) as illustrated below.

  – the address verification is in progress

  – the address has successfully verified

  – the address has failed to verify

Good to know: Where an address has been successfully verified, the latest available EPC rating will be retrieved and visible against that property address!
